You're Only As Busy As You Want To Be

I tend to say "yes" both in my head and to others. I've taken on lots, so I'm busy as a bee around here.
Started making these in my 'free time'...I have a fun idea for them.
I've been making lots of these...it's coming along nicely.
This is part of a gift for my "crunchy granola" niece who is graduating from UT Austin. More kitcheny things to come for her.
No, I wasn't abducted by aliens and forced to drink the thimbleberry koolaid...this is a commission piece. I finished the first 10 of 40 blocks for this. Due date...early June.
I have so many people to thank...for mail, for selvages, for help...I'm getting to it, I really am. Jon's graduation quilt...9 days to finish that. 951 posts on my reader. Maybe after graduation.
Is summer almost here?

    I really don't think that you sleep. Everything that you do is just absolutely stunning. You better get working on that quilt though the deadline is coming fast! Love it!!

    Yesterday I used some of the aqua/teal Flea Market Fancy you sent. I was making a color wheel for a baby quilt and it was PERFECT in it. Thank you so much!

    Just beautiful as always - that commissioned quilt is going to be beautiful!
    And I love the selvedge blocks..and the pot holders...and the new quilt design. Hope you get caught up - I hate that feeling!

    The selvedge blocks are wonderful! Everything really is looking so pretty. I am desperately awaiting summer when I can get things done. Only two weeks left!

    You go girl! I can hardly wait to see what you do with the white blocks framed with the scraps. I just made some sewing machine covers with selvages and it was kind of a bear to quilt! I was using free motion meandering and the hopping foot would get caught on the lips of the selvages and make a fold sometimes. I will be interested in seeing how you quilt your selvage spider web quilt. I am getting a lot done thanks to your Spring to finish challenge for May. I think I'm going to be ready for a rest after this month though :)

    You are a busy girl, but I am so gald ...you inspire all of us to sew more quilts. Love the selvedge spiderweb quilt and the red blocks are gorgeeous. So may great ideas. Good luck on your son's graduation quilt!

    Cute! I made some potholders for the first time last Christmas. Wasn't it fun? I also live in Austin, but i'm not crunchy granola.

    I totally love those pot holders you made! Did you use a tutorial/pattern? I would totally love to make some for some friends of mine too. I especially think the grommet idea is awesome. I just have problems with binding. I tried to make some coasters with the same sort of idea but the binding got messed up. Way to go and you're almost there!

    You're such amazing lady and very productive, Jacquie! Maybe I should wait till my kids big to be like you..:)
    really hard to find free time for quilting when 3 little heads always surround you. The only time I have is when they're sleeping, but I also near to "collapse" at that moment ,LOL! Thanks for always sharing your works:)
