Traffic

I'm alive.  I have been making things.  Just in case anyone is still reading, this is the Traffic quilt.  It uses an adaptation of the slice/insert technique.  It's inspired by Chicago traffic on my iPhone.  It has my favorite 1/4" quilting.  More to come!

I'm still reading! My husband is in Chicago at the moment so when he comes back from the Windy City I'll show him your quilt and ask him what he thinks!

Very much "you" including the orange. I like the deeper blue tones too. Would love to see what your iphone looks like. : )

I see you're in Denver early March. Will you be doing any talks or workshops locally?

Glad you're back -- I've missed reading your posts. As always, a beautiful quilt. Hoping we can get you out to our guild someday (probably 2016 at the earliest).

Of croutes we're still reading! Great quilt. And don't you just love the 108" backings from Carolyn Friedlander?? I'm guessing that's what you used on the back. Love it!

Ooh, Jacquie! I think this is a new favorite! Nicely done :-)

By the way, ever since our little chat at Road, you've inspired me to start researching and learning more about modern art influences on modern quilting and it's been a great eye opener.

So thanks for the inspiration!
