These are my Ornament Tree placemats. I'm making a couple more so I can have them for the whole family. There are loads of great projects. Trisch's bag is so cute and Lisa's towels have inspired me to make some Christmas towels for my kitchen. Be sure to check it out!

I am sewing a tree skirt currently.
Wow those are really cute. Now I'm feeling the need to make some of those. As of right now I am making large throws for husband and mom and then I am making hotpads and kitchen towels for my 2MIL's and my SIL. Maybe I should add some festive placemats to those baskets.

I would love a copy! My biggest sewing project for Christmas is a lap quilt for my grandma. She is in the early stages of dementia and spends a lot of time in front of the heater during the winter. I know she'll love having something pretty to cuddle up with!

For the holidays? for the Halloween break I just want to start an other birdie stitching and it should end up as a table runner for the Wintertime (birdie with snowman). for the Christmas break I want to start a quilt for my friends wedding and my girl wants to have a mug rug for herself. Some other plans are in my head but I am not sure if I have time ...
sadly i am sewing nothing for Christmas this year....like you, we moved just a week ago and my sewing room is non-existent and in boxes...

I'm a busy stitcher for the holidays this year! I'm making six (6!) explorer vests for the cousins and my own kids, a pair of bloomers for my yet-to-arrive niece or nephew, quilts x3 for an uncle, my mom and my sister. I'm also making felt ornaments for cousins and my kids. And for myself - 2 hexagon table placemats, an advent calendar and a banner for the fireplace. And maybe a couple of pillows if I find the time (which looking at my list, I'm thinking not...)
Finally a new Christmas tree skirt! I'd love to make stockings too.... We'll see if there is time!

I'm making my part of our MQG's "Christmas Scrap Swap" where we exchanged Christmas fabrics in a ziploc baggie. I've got WAY too many ideas for the amount of time I have left. :) Towels, table runner, wall hanging, coasters, a little wooden spool decoration...

I am so excited to have just finished making two pillow cases: One large one to wrap a 3 year old's Christmas quilt in and another one to wrap her doll's quilt in! Having too much fun around the house getting ready for the holiday season.

I love the placemats, looks like another reason to go to the bookstore! I am making quilts for my kiddos (two pieced, one more to go), 2 doll quilts for 2 special girls and linens to go for an Ikea doll bed. Also 3 additional quilts for my mom, sister and brother. I'm feeling overwhelmed by it all... hope I can accomplish it.
Well, I'll be working to finish another spider web quilt. I plan on stitching a few ornaments, several bags for friends, and of course there's always the dream of sewing up a new wardrobe!

I've made a few things ~ a couple of zip bag (and more to make), a Pumpkin Girl embroidery pattern, a few bags, a skirt to go with a sweater I knit, a bag for my son and I could go on.

I am not sewing for the holidays. I have to finish my daughter and son in law's quilt from the wedding reception linens. I have put so much stuff before it that it would be the best gift ever for me if I just finished it. It is the quilt tat has sat in my sewing room longest except for one I don't think I will ever finish.

Nice magazine spread! I have to make a stocking for Mina and I think a Christmas dress since I can't find one I like for a reasonable price. I probably owe my mom a quilt but that's not likely happen.

Thanks for the giveaway! I just finished piecing Snow-Kissed Star by Konda Luckau that was on the cover of the Nov/Dec McCall's Quilting Mag. I used a Flurry jelly roll so it went together fast. I'm going to make one more because the jelly roll will make two. I'm giving one quilt as a gift and keeping the other for a Christmas wall hanging!
