This quilt has been away since early this summer. I've missed it even though I was so proud to have it in the Scrap Art Exhibit at the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles. I breathed a sigh of relief when the Fed Ex man brought it home.
Since it was ready to hang, I hung it right out of the box in my hallway gallery. It's a great place for it. I walk by it all day long and it's protected from direct sunlight. I may have to watch Bruno to make sure he doesn't rub up against it though.
A few more pictures in case you're like me and can't stop looking at it.

It's amazing how wonderfully the quilting completes this quilt. You're right, I can't stop looking at it either. :)
Wow, that's amazing. Did you do the quilting, too? (I hope that's not a rude question)
The quilting is amazing!
Your quilt is just beautiful! And congratulations on its entry and exhibit.
And I am soooo glad it made its way home to you. I've read stories... well, you know, I'm sure.
I love the colors and the quilting! Well done!

I agree, I can't stop looking either!! So beautiful, amazing what you can do with scraps.
What an incredible quilt! The quilting really compliments the shapes in the piecing
This was gorgeous in person! So nice for you to have it home with you again. (I'm also wondering what the new exhibit will be!)
Oh my, that quilt is amazing with your stunning quilting. I made a spiderweb selvege quilt last year as well, but I took a different approach. Here's a pic:

that quilt is so amazing, and Angela is so amazing at her quilting talents too! I really want to send my spiderweb selvage quilt to her to quilt too! She did a phenomenal job on my argyle quilt :) And she has a vintage grandmothers flower garden of mine right now :)
I *am* like you and can't stop looking at it. Still love this quilt, Jacquie!

Wow, the quilting is INCREDIBLE! I'm at a point in my quilting career where I just want the quilting to hold the thing together and not detract. Eventually I hope that the quilting will be part of the art!
What a stunning quilt!! No wonder you were glad to get it back!
I'm so disappointed that:
1. I didn't get to meet you in San Jose.
2. I didn't get to see the quilt up close and personal.
another time...
Wow! Not only is your piecing, perfect, but the quilting is totally amazing! Bravo to you both!
It's home sweet home for you both!
So so beautiful. I'd be sitting in front of it drinking wine and celebrating cleverness!
It is amazing. I would look at it all the time, too.
Another masterpiece Jacquie - love the quilting
I understand why you can't stop looking at it! It is gorgeous and you picked the perfect color solid to go in this quilt. Angela knocked this one out of the park!
First... What a beautiful quilt!!
Second.. A question regarding your hallway gallery. Do you have track lighting in your hall? The idea is super great and one I might be able to borrow; except for the lighting issue..... My hall seems so long and dark and I'm not sure I could convince my husband to put in track lighting since we've already replaced the hall lights once =( Guess I need to pay attention to the natural light in the hall during the day.
I have always admired the selvage spiderweb quilt. I often find myself telling people about it in passing when yet another instructor in a quilting class tells everyone selvages are to be discarded! Truly amazing, the quilt is magnificent!
Simply amazing!
I LOVE the quilting on this. Absolutely stunning~
I really don't want to stop looking at it-- ohh to be a fly on your hallway wall-ha!!! :-) It's truly amazing!
Tin Ceiling really caught my eye! This is fantastic and fun. The quilting is done just right for these blocks. :o)

Unbelievable...I wonder if that beauty will ever grace a bed...That is absolutely stunning...
No wonder you are happy to have that quilt back home! It is magnificent!!!
The quilting makes it sing!!
That is so cool! It really DOES look like a tin ceiling!
So stunning. I would want to look at it all the time, but I'd also want run my fingers along the quilting stitches. Such a tactile looking work of art.
