I love the straight and narrow quilting on those orphan blocks (that look completely like they were MEANT to be used just for that project!). Oh well. As for your neck and shoulder, that so happened to me last year. I ended up having to have physical therapy. Finally it is better. I never let it get me down, I just went about my sewing/quilting because I just couldn't give it up. While I was doing therapy, I was also doing home exercises. Also, the doctor prescribed the heavy duty ibuprofen. Definitely helped. I sure hope you feel better soon. How do you get so much done??!! I love the half fans better than the dresden plates...always have! but I love things (like shelves and such) that fit in corners. triangle shaped with arc outer edge. Calls to me...don't ask why.

As to the neck oh yes!!

make sure you're close but not too close high but not too high..you know. But then when I sew I realized I hold my right shoulder higher and have to stop every 15 min and intentionally lower my shoulders as far as I can..stretching my neck. Also stop and lean head first to one shoulder, then the other, then to chest. Really give that neck a good stretch at least every half hour. Sewing by default sits us at a strained angle and my pitiful sewing chair doesn't help. I have a pillow behind my back to get me closer or I end up leaning forward and get a low back ache after sewing.......

well, stop and stretch babe, it'll make a world of difference...for now, ibuprofen and a heating pad will set you right!MightyMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02563721884001643857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8119596690600748752.post-89635947552922874962008-11-19T23:19:00.000-06:002008-11-19T23:19:00.000-06:00The pillows are beautiful!
