Steam, let cool, and loosen the thread to remove the cardboard. I finally just decided to tie the quilt and not look too closely. remember the saying "it'll quilt out".

My guess is that your pattern needs a bit of adjustment...maybe narrower at the bottoms or perhaps has 1 too many leaves. I actually think this is one of those patterns like Grandmother's Flower Garden that works best either paper pieced or hand sewn.

For the circle. I use very small basting stitches and round it as I sew it down. that's by hand, I don't machine applique. Actually, most of my stuff is by hand so that's probably just my stock answer haha.MightyMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02563721884001643857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8119596690600748752.post-44276141289251155212008-11-14T23:40:00.000-06:002008-11-14T23:40:00.000-06:00Oh do you have more than 24 hours there, in your w...Oh do you have more than 24 hours there, in your world...haha...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8119596690600748752.post-81318519101923138902008-11-14T20:12:00.000-06:002008-11-14T20:12:00.000-06:00How do you get so much done?!?
