Creamsicle Whirlygiggles and Big News

Finally finished...'Creamsicle Whirlygiggles'. 60 x 76 and filled with pink, green, orange, brown and lots of free motion loopy quilting. It needs a good wash and dry to get that wonderful crinkle, but I couldn't wait to show it off.

A little finish too...stacked coins doll quilt and its little pillow. Used this to get into the groove of the loopy quilting.
A few minutes ago I finished a meeting with representative of a local gallery. She came to my studio to see my quilts. Here's my big news...I'm going to have an exhibit of my work, and of course there's a charity component too. Oh my goodness I can hardly believe I'm writing those words. My quilts hanging for others to see. It will either be starting in June or July. I'll share details as I find out more. I'm so excited I can hardly type. I'm off to call my mom and my hubby and well, everyone! Hope you are having a great day!
