I quilted nice straight lines to give them a trail to follow.
The back feels like the deep dark woods to me.
You can still see the trail though...
It's good to have a trail that will take you home.ps...evidently my posts aren't showing up in bloglines...i'm clueless...i use google reader. can anyone help?

I have you showing up in my dashboard on blogger...but I think it's connected to google reader, even though I don't read pages through the google site. I'm ZERO help there, sorry! Love the back of the quilt by the way, that material is fabulous!

I love it love it love it! The front is bold yet elegant, teh back is as beautiful to look at as teh front, the quilting is simple and appropriate, and the binding fabric is one of my favorites!

Beautiful quilt! What do you use to mark your lines before you quilt them? I've tried lots of different markers and haven't been too thrilled with any of them...

i don't use any markers...the secret is painter's tape. i have it in widths from 1/4 inch to 3 inches. just put on one piece of tape....sew along the edge of the tape, then move the tape over and keep on going. you'll have to replace the tape every so often when it loses its stickiness....the best part is that it leaves no residue on your quilt.

I had a problem with my feed and bloglines last year after I moved my blog from Yahoo web hosting to my new host. In my case it was related to some type of a 'stuck' connection to the old files which I had left in place until I was sure the move had been successful. After I deleted the files on Yahoo it started working again. Of course, all my readers reported every feed reader was working except for Bloglines.
I did a lot of research at the time and could find no way to actually contact Bloglines, no forum, no support phone number. I did send quite a few e-mails via their contact form asking them to reset my feed, advice I came across on a few different blog searches on the topic. Seemed like a black hole.
Pretty amazing that a third-party service has that kind of control over our content! I switched to Google Reader and haven't looked back, it's probably better that I don't know when Bloglines isn't picking up my feed :)

Your quilts and your quilting are beautiful, and somehow they appear calming to me. I don't make modern qlts, tho I do liberated patchwork ala Gwen Marston, yet I love your interpretation of 'modern'.
