love says it all

I...
this quilt.
it's about loving fabric...
loving the challenge. (6 months in the making!)
A few more rows and it'll be done.
This quilt may put me in the running for 'crazy quilt lady.' I'll wear the title proudly.

  2. rachel,
it started out that way, but selvages disappear quickly! this quilt contains selvages from MANY of my blog friends. i couldn't have done it without them!!

  3. I heart that quilt too. That robin's egg blue color is what really sets it apart from other's I've seen. Is that a Kona--would you mind sharing the color name?

  16. Wow, that's an amazing quilt! I love it. It's interesting how so many traditional quilt styles look great done in selvages.

If anyone needs selvages, just ask your guild members, and soon you'll have more than you could ever use! Until they see the cool stuff you make; then they might want to hold onto them.

  25. Love it! Are you stitching the first strip and then inserting the second one under it and top stitching? Is that to reduce bulk?
Just curious, I enjoy seeing how others work through different patterns.
