I don't know a better way to say it except this week sucked. Not even close to my goal and feeling pretty crappy about it.
I just talked to Katie and she told me to stop talking about it and go do it.
She's right.
I hope you all have better news. Are you out there? Are you moving your butt?
I'm off to move mine!
I'm happy to say - so far so good for me and it's showing too. I've actually lost around my midriff - got to use hooks on my bra that haven't been used in a while! Now I'm committed.
ReplyDeleteI still need to get in gear. I have the "gear," I just need to start using it...
ReplyDeleteWhat info do you still need to add me to the list?
I'm behind my goal, but I am moving!
ReplyDeleteThe record breaking heat the last few days has been my excuse. Today was more normal, so I mowed the lawn (counts as fitness in my book!)
I have seven pounds to go before I am at my pre-preggo weight (which, lets be honest -- still has a little room), but I'd like to get there before we start working on #2!
I'm leaving in 10 min.....which is why I haven't posted yet!!
ReplyDeleteI am way behind in my goals. Just back from vacation. Your right - I need to Stop making excuses and just do it.
ReplyDeleteThis week may turn out to be the best of the month so far. And, I actually started sewing pieces of fabric together this morning. I'll post tomorrow since darkness isn't too great for photographing quilt bits.
ReplyDeleteI didn't sign up for the fitness challenge but I am a runner. I've come to realize that there are some days when I don't get out and do as much as I'd like or as much as I'm supposed to. Take today, for instance. According to my training program, I was supposed to run 5K but a pulled muscle was hampering my style. I ran less than that and that's gotta be ok. A bad (or short) run is better than no run. Glad you put on your shoes and hit the road!
ReplyDeleteIve been doing pretty well. Yesterday had me flat on my back with back pain but today I am up and about to put on my walking shoes.
ReplyDeleteHad lots of company the past week so I didn't meet my excercise goal, ate out too much and did not go into my sewing room at all. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteSo far so good for me this week.
ReplyDeletemaybe for cheering you up, you could visit my blog and see what I wrote about my dearest blogging friends, including you!
Oh Jacquie... I failed miserably this week!!! I even got the 'dear participant letter (see my blog post). But I will get back there soon!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you... definitely down in the dumps these days. Can't even walk far without still hurting from that #$%* dog.
ReplyDeletehey
ReplyDeletegetting down on yourself about not exercising doesn't get back - go forward. We're all human. I go through the same thing, but then think, better tomorrow.....that's all we can do.
your intentions are good - that's a lot in itself. I cheer you on!
Oh Jackie! I am sorry your week was bad. Excercise can make it better...it is nice to release the endorphins of happiness. SInce moving to Texas I have taken up "Zumba" It is AWESOME! Like an hour at a dance club. I am sure there are a zillion in the KC area.
ReplyDeletexo,
Tia Curtis
I should take my own advice this week!
