I finally had a chance to get pictures of the Peace and Comfort quilt. It's my tribute to the American Red Cross. I'll let the pictures and Angela's quilting speak for themselves.
I love it. I will never forget the Red Cross volunteers that came into our area 11 years ago after the floods from hurricane Floyd. They came in opened shelters. They brought in medical help, it was unbelievable.
The quilting is just amazing. I've noticed that word many times in the previous comments so I was searching for another adjective. Sorry ... amazing it is!
Stunning, Amazing, Incredible!! The Red Cross should use an image of your quilt for their marketing message ~ as this quilt grabs at your heart. from Jenny McH
Inspiring. One of my favorite parts is "Clara Barton, Angel of the Battlefield." As the daughter of a veteran, that speaks to my heart. Truly an incredible piece of art and history. I've never seen the like.
This quilt is amazing! I love how she quilted words into it.
I added this my list of potential projects (giggle, giggle) to make blue and white crosses as in the Finnish flag. I'm remaking my dad's memorial quilt and I can't wait!
