Those are my words for the week.
I finished two quilts with the new Mod Squad fabric designed by Dan Stiles for Birch fabrics.
The fabric is darling! Sorry I can't show the whole quilt right now.
With Steve out of town I was able to move all the furniture in the living/dining room and get some quilts basted last night. I have to create chaos to baste quilts, but now I've got quilting to do. Yippee!
Ugh, basting quilts. The worst part of the job in my opinion. However....the end results are always worth it. This quilt looks so cute! Have fun with the others and can't wait to see your progress!
ReplyDeletelook at your beautifully straight quilting lines! can't wait to see the full reveal!
ReplyDeleteLove that fabric!
ReplyDeleteAnd it is chaos here to baste quilts too. That's why I just make Morgan help me!
Is your quilting done? Can you post more images of the complete one?
ReplyDeleteHi AML,
ReplyDeleteyup, the quilting is done on both, but I can't post pictures...these will appear again next summer. sorry!
I am so glad that I have two longarms because even just quilting the lines for the strap on a bag I'm making on my domestics is enough to drive me batty. I don't know how people can stand quilting on domestics. The time! It looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great! :) I can't wait to see the whole thing!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous! Love those straight lines.
ReplyDeleteThey look beautiful. Love the fabric.
ReplyDeleteLove the quilting lines....wonderful contrast to the fabric pattern! Look forward to seeing more! Hugs....
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you can elaborate more. You have a great idea here. Will wait for your next posting...
ReplyDeleteLove the quilting! I agree that basting is my least favorite part of the whole process.
ReplyDeleteHee Hee, I'll bet you are worth millions now you have won that lottery. I have a friend who is a prince in Nigeria who is keeping $37 million safe for me.
ReplyDeleteglen: love the sunshine (considering we have horrible storms here in Louisiana today) and the quilting on today's!
Quilting, quilting, quilting by the Kaw. . .That's what your KCMQG peeps will be doing starting Friday. We so wish you were going to be with us. Miss you.
ReplyDeleteWhat awesome stratigh lines! Love that fabric, too. Can't wait to see the finish!
