My Buzz

Today is my anniversary and as I am every year I'm "BUZZED" about it. Buzz, (or Steve as he is known to some), is my husband of 28 years.
It's difficult to articulate what he means to me as a partner, a lover, a father and a friend. I know the phrase is "a good woman behind every man", but in my case there is a good man behind this woman. I am a better person because I'm Mrs. Buzz. As I tell my boys (every chance I get), the most important decision they will make is their choice of a life partner. I made a good choice and I'm thankful that he chose me.

We're spending the day celebrating with Meredith and Michael as they start their married life. What a wonderful way to reminisce together about the early days in our marriage.

    What a beautiful post to your husband. I always tell my boys the best thing they can do for their children is to love their mother. So far, we are very fortunate to have wonderful daughter-in-laws and 8 grandchildren. Happy anniversary

    Happy Anniversary to both of you Jacquie. It is so nice to hear when people are happy with their choice in a life partner. I agree that it a very important decision, but could not sway my daughter's decision and pray for the two of them every day. Sorry, didn't mean to distract from the joy!

    Happy Anniversary to you both! We are celebrating our 17th anniversary today, and I feel very much the same way about my partner in life, too! Man of my dreams and then some! Always pinching myself.     Happy Anniversary! Looks like you were married 10 days after I was. That June must have been a good time for happy marriages. :)

    Congrats on the anniversary! My little boys name is Steven Thad (named after his dad) but he has been Buzzy since before he was born. No one knows his real name, he's just Buzz or Buzzy! He's going into the second grade and his name is is Buzzy A.... in his school yearbook! It's so nice to hear of others that have the same name as my little Buzzy!
