I saw this on the Pantone FB page yesterday. Those interested in color trends, pairings, mood, etc should "like". They have some awesome free Webinars. I'm not a huge fan of orange but I like this one. My late '70s eye would love this with royal purple. Your color, Jacquie - trendsetter!
When you spoke in Los Angeles about 6 months ago you talked of your love of orange. So when I heard that Pantone had chosen Tangerine Tango as its color of the year, I immediately thought of you.
I swore I'd never use orange again as I had so much of it. Now, down to just a bitty little bit. And I bought an orange linen outfit for spring...yep, orange is happy. Just a question, when you do the small square quilting...is it done on a sewing machine and secondly how long does this take you to do? The look is amazing, but do I have enough life left to do this?
Calling all orange (Tangerine Tango) lovers. You can share your orange creations and pics at Pantone Web site (see paragraph after 4 orange swatches) http://blog.pantone.com/2011/12/pantone-17-1463-tangerine-tango-the-2012-color-of-the-year/
I read your blog often and just had to smile when I saw this post. When I asked my 3 year old grandson what he wanted for Christmas he said "a mickey rocket ship and a orange shirt" !! So grammy has been busy trying to find him an orange shirt. Love your blog and your quilts, happy holidays.
