Balancing Act
I realized that I never posted about this quilt. "Balancing Act" was on the cover of American Quilter magazine. There is a long story behind this quilt, but suffice it to say that at the time I made it, my life was a bit out of balance. 2014 is starting that way too, but I'm working to find that balance between creating, work, and family. The quilt now belongs to my mom and hangs in her "modern" family room.
It's a beautiful quilt, and a great photo too. I hope you find the balance soon.

ReplyDeleteLove your quilt. Your quilting is amazing. I have been doing some machine quilting today- really easy straight line and I'm so disappointed with how it is turning out. I learned by hand quilting and really want to add this to my abilities but it is going to take lots more practice.
