The Running Man

Thought you might want to see how the quilting transformed the Running Man quilt into a finished piece.  It'll hang in my hubby's office when the remodel is done.

    Perfect!!! Loved seeing this as a quilt top, but it's incredible now that it has been quilted!

    WOW! It always amazes me how quilting changes a work of art! My husband is a runner and a math guy...I LOVE the combination using the number fabrics in there! Well done!

    It's almost, but not quite a large fingerprint over the entire quilt. It adds a lot of movement too.

    Stunning! For me, the machine quilting is one of my favorite parts of the quilting process. I would love to try a similar all-over quilting design, but I wonder: what is the key to keeping the piece square with all of the stitching ? And I see no distortion whatsoever, it looks perfect. Also - you must be patient to complete all of that stitching, too! This will be awesome in an office!

    If I could draw a picture of the way I wish I could run, stretching into the run with ease, this would be what I would draw. I absolutely connect with this quilt...love Running Man.

    Love your new quilt.
    Sorry you had that disparaging comment. I have tried many styles of quilting and didn't feel "at home" until I tried Modern especially those you have in Lucky Spools.
    Actually I am still looking for a pattern for Outside In, is there a pattern and where can I purchase it.
    Ps. You walking foot tutorial is the best, I don't every won't to try feathers or such ever again.
