Here is the first big finish. I'm so proud.
Free motion meander quilted by little old me. This is my 'Seeing Stars' quilt from AmandaJean's second quilt-a-long. I know...it was last year. But it's done, it's fab and I love it.
I used Katie Jump Rope, Amy Butler and Urban Chicks Swell for this one. This is my favorite block. I made the original setting blocks but decided not to use them and to set the star blocks off kilter. It's so me...so fun.
The back is a soft green with this off set extra block.
Been working on my spiderweb selvedge quilt too. 10 blocks done...20 to go. Thanks to Aneela and Nichole for sending selvedges. Can you see them in there, girls? I have no idea if I have enough to make the 30 blocks I'm planning, but I'm taking it one block at a time.
Are you springing to finish? Hope you've gotten something crossed off your list too. Feels pretty good! Stay tuned for more prize reveals. Off to sew...

Ahh, it feels so good to finish a project! Great job, Jacquie! It is so pretty in blues and greens. Love the selvedged spider webs. Fun to see it coming along.
I have seen selvage quilts before. How wide do you cut the selvage? luntville@aznex.net
Your finished quilt is beautiful! Those are all my favorite colors! A admire you for selvage spider webs, I don't think I would ever be so brave. Great job!
BUT despite overload at school, I have a spring finish too. It's not from my list, but it was awaiting finish for two years. It's done as of last night! Will post about it as soon as it's receiver has it - Friday night.
I am working on more...
Love your Seeing Stars! I'm working on mine - but since I'm making it king sized - it's gonna take a little bit of time:)

Your quilt is beautiful! I got one Spring to Finish finished - and am nearly done another - I was felled by the flu but plan to get back to it tonight and should finish it.
After that, another. And another and another! :)
Congratulations Jacquie -- that star quilt is gorgeous -- I LOVE the colors!
Wonderful quilt! The colors and the quilting are fantastic! Congrats on the finish. The selvedged spider blocks are really amazing, and I can only imagine how much work went into those.
I love the look of your selvage blocks. I can't wait to see how it all comes together. I have only one finish done, but two more in the works! I think everyone who participates in your Sprint to Finish challenge is going to end up a winner for sure!!
Cheers,
Dionne

Beautiful. I haven't sprung to finish, but I made major progress last night on a UFO that has been sitting around for two years!
I love your star quilt. I love star blocks AND triangles. It looks like a promise of spring and summer.
What a pretty quilt! I love the soft colors and the great texture. It really invites you to take a nap! The spiderweb is looking wonderful. I want to make one of those one day too.
Pretty stars! Congrats!
My star top is done, but I'm having issues with the backing as usual.
Amazingly beautiful!
I’m stitching the backing of the star quilts as we speak. My quilt is made with the setting blocks, so it’s too big to meander on the machine! I will bring it to the longarm service...
I finished by Easter tablerunner and I’m handquilting an hour-glass kidsquilt now.
...clapping....your meandering 'looks great'!!..but..I'm still scared to try!!.....Oh and your selvage quilt is going to be so 'wild and crazy'..!!!
Congratulations and it's just gorgeous and I do so LOVE the colors. Loving the spider web too. As for me...I didn't officially join your challenge but I did manage to machine 2 quilts this weekend. Now to bind.
Oh, Jacquie, it is FAB, and I love it too!!!!!!
My "Springing" is more crawling, but hey, the turtle did win the race, did he not?
Fabulous! I'm working on marking something off my WIPS list....I am hoping to get a lot accomplished this weekend!
How o you do it??? I know how busy you are and yet you still get so much done! Amazing!!
Ohh, I love the colors! Congrats!
I just need to quilt mine and put the backing on. I like free machine meandering too. It is sooo me. I think you have helped me to decide how to quilt it, thank you.
xx
I thought that line of smoke way west of us was due to prairie fires--just didn't realize it was you!
Nice going!
Yours is so beautiful! I love the soft color combination you used. I have not finished my star quilt yet but it is on my list for spring to finish! You have helped inspire me to get it done.:)

FANTASTIC quilt!!! Love it so much. I love using new modern fabrics in traditional quilt patterns. Perfect! I think I'll be able to cross two or three things off my list of five for the month - if not, I might be in trouble since next week is a busy one. Good luck with your list!
O.K. I already asked Darlene this week to make sure my name was on one of her quilts. I gave all my personal information to her, so she could give it to her daughter who will inherit all her quilts. Do you need same info? LOL ooxx`jod LOVE IT!
Wow. I love both of these quilts, Jacquie. Fabulous fabric choices for the star quilt along quilt and I LOVE the selvedge spider web blocks. Gorgeous!
