Checked Off The List

...Amandajean's swap quilt...check!

Thanks AJ. It's perfect in my new living room. I can't wait to finish the move so I can see it every day. (Amandajean made the top and swapped with me for fabric.) Best swap I've ever done.
...niece's graduation gift...check! Added a vegetarian cookbook, wrapped it all in a lime green polka dot ribbon and sent it on its way.
...a potholder for you Spring to Finishers...maybe some fabrics to coordinate for the winner? It's very springy, don't you think? I've heard from a few folks who are doing themselves proud with all their finishes. We're a little over halfway through the month. How are you doing?

The work on the selvage quilt continues...couldn't have done it without a little help from my friends. Jodie, Amber, Ashley, Megan and Christine are just the latest to have sent selvages to make the quilt bigger. Your kindness floors me.

Jodie, I'm wearing my selvage keychain proudly on my keys and thinking of you each time I head out in the car. Thanks for the cards too..they're so darling and are traveling all around the states spreading good cheer.

I love the colors of the quilt. Greenish-blueish things are one of my favourites in these days. Also the graduation presents are very pretty, and it is such a good idea.

I have one finish so far - hoping to get number 2 in the bag by the end of the week.

LOVE your finishes - they are awesome!

Great job! The quilt is so pretty, (good going on that swap!) and I think your pot holder is the classiest one I have ever seen! Beautiful!

Love the blue swap quilt and the graduation gift is lovely. It is always so much fun to visit your blog!

I love the swap quilt on your couch! You've inspired me to start saving my selvages to make something small and different to hang on the wall in my quilting area to help motivate me. I just love looking at all of your work.

The Amanda Jean quilt is fabulous! As is your kitchen set and the spider web selvedges. And your comment in the last post about saying yes to others and in your head, taking on so much -- I can SO relate. But you are my hero, you sail through things so well.

Still thinking of you and hoping each day is brighter than the one before -- creative work is such a healer, don't you think?!

What a wonderful graduation gift! I have been seeing a lot of the scrappy kitchen towels around blogland - I might just have to make some for myself! :)

I have some selvages for you, too. Just need to pop them in the mail!

Oooh, can't wait to see the selvage quilt all done. Glad to help in some small way. (And as a side benefit to moi, I realized how SMALL my stash is when I didn't have as many to send to you as I had hoped, so if I do some retail damage any time soon, I'll send more :))

woo hoo!!

I like your shows today! Hey, how's that exhibit coming along?

I'm three flowers away from having a "finish" with them all basted. But I knew there wouldn't be many finishes this month. That's the reason for the big push to get so many done last month! I can't even sit at the sewing maching to make the little apron that's all cut out and waiting for me....sigh.

Finish #2 for the month is done!

You're doing great on your finishes! I've been collecting selvages, too, but nowhere near enough yet, especially since I'm trying not to add many fabrics to my stash.

WOW! You really got the better end of that swap! I adore that quilt!

The placemat and potholders and kitchen graduation present is gorgeous, too.

I love the potholders! And the quilt is awesome!

I have 2 finishes so far! I am hoping to get through 3, maybe even 4 before the end of the month! And one of them would be my first ever quilt. It is only a doll quilt, but it is still a quilt!

I'm intrigued by your spring to finish challenge. Sorry I missed it. If you do this agian, I hope to participate as I love this motivational technique.

I also love your quilts. I am a newbie and love looking at the art others create.

Did you make up the pattern for the potholder? I'm going to be part a potholder challenge in June.

I want to see more of your selvedge project. Love it. And I love your project for your neice. I have big gromets too. I should do that in a potholder! You've outdone yourself yet again.

Wasn't sure how to reach you, but I was checking out your sidebar and noticed a name I thought was odd...uberbitch. Clicked on it and the blog is uberstitch. Just thought I would mention it!

I have finished my blue and white quilt but i can not remeber if I mentioned here or not. I shall check the flickr group too. Seeing as I need a while to recover each time this will be it from me this month. I shall enjoy seeing what everyone else has finished though. have a good weekend too.

I must be out of the loop too as I did not know you were moving.

Are you moving to be with your husband?

Funny what anonymous said above...maybe it is uberbitch to her friends!
