'on the line at ray and joan's' ... The Debut

In all its glory...
The clothes...
Another angle just because...
Can you see the puffy sun? Love that!

This piece is 36 x36...much larger than I usually make these quilts. I had to create a new method to make it work on this large a scale. I have to say I like them even better this way. I'm making one for myself for sure.

Ray and Joan can't take delivery for a few more days. It has to hang around at my house. This one will be hard to let go. I wish you could see it in person....the pictures don't do it justice.

Jacquie! It's just wonderful! I love those little undies! If you don't mind me asking, do you quilt it first then put on the appliques and decorative stitching? (and if you do mind, just disregard the question please!)

This is absolutely ADORABLE!!! I love the little undies, one piece long johns, and especially the poofy, polka-dot sun. Great job!

How cute! Wouldn't that look great hanging in a laundry room, a swank laundry room?

I love this. It looks like you had a great time making it. It is so frustrating when photos do not come out as good as the piece really looks. Thanks for sharing though. Now I want to go and make laundry and houses...

That is seriously gorgeous!!! how do I go about getting one?? hehe.
Do you just do raw edge applique?? It's hard to tell from the pictures (which are fabulous btw!) I can't tell you how much I love this design. I saw a picture like this once but it was done with dried flowers, but I think I love the quilt more!!

As someone who loves to quilt and loves to hang clothes on the line, I totally appreciate this wonderful piece! So cheery and the jaunty angles of the clothes really give the feeling of clothes blowin' in the wind. Well done!
