...a change in habits...making a quilt from start to finish? i kept going on this quilt...made the back...basted it and even started the quilting.
...when i get home this weekend maybe i'll keep going on it through the finish. could i be turning over a new leaf?

Feels good doesn't it? I love the wavy line quilting you are doing :)
It's nice, isn't it? To take a quilt all the way through the process without a break. By the by, I LOVE the wavy line quilting!
I LOVE IT!!!
It looks awesome. I adore those colors!
I take it as a sign that I'm really in love with the project if nothing else takes my attention away from it. Let it spirit you away!
Looking forward to seeing it finished -- it looks fantastic!
Your wavy line quilting is awesome! It looks like it would take FOREVER to finish!
i love your quilt and Its so great to start a project and finish it without a break.
Hugs Cornelia
Is the quilting you are doing a zigzag stitch or are you free motion quilting the zigzag lines? I love it! And I love making quilts from start to finish!
WOW, I love that quilt, and I LOVE the quilting! Well done! You may have inspired me to go finish something myself...
I really like the quilting.
Start to finish is generally how I work, but I think it's usually because I am making gifts.
Impressive! Fun colors.
Hey Jacquie, It's looking great! Some project are like that, They just don't stop and others, well they just drag their feet. Happy finishing!
I love this earthy quilt. Your quilting is beautiful. Now wonder you can't put it down.
Like previous commenters, I LOVE that wavy line quilting! Is that a particular stitch on your machine, or...?
I agree..earthy. Do you free motion the wiggly lines or use a stitch set on your machine?
jacquie - with those fabric and color combo, I cannot wait to finish it up. Love it and cannot wait to see the whole piece. I also saw a fabric I purchased recently which I hope to buy more since I will be using a little less than 2 yards for th back of a commissioned lap quilt.
Either your are sick or in Love!!!
It is so beautiful, I vcte for love, after all it is feb.!!
The quilting is wonderful! I see lots of questions on it so I hope you will give soem more info on how you are doing that... like keeping it so straight!
Good job! Yes, the quilting is really cool and the colors too! Is that quilting computerized or how do you do that?
Wow, I love the tight wavy quilting! Thanks for the idea. You're stuff is awesome.

I'm hoping you will be so disappointed that you will give it away....to me! I love it!
Oh wow! That's very impressive. Maybe one day...
I love the quilt BTW. Love it.
It's the only way I can do it... if I don't finish each one right away, I lose my momentum. (But your old ways seemed to work just fine for you... I have always been impressed with your output!) This one looks like another beauty!
Love it! I too wonder about your wavy line quilting - is it a stitch on your machine or free motion?
Well, it could be, and if you are, you are way ahead of me! I'm still all over the place with ADD!
Love the fabric selections in this one. The colors I'm starting to work with this week as a matter of fact...
oh yes, do!! I wanna see it finished!! :-)
*and it'll keep your rotary cutter away from your other finished tops**ahem*
Yup! That's how I work!I get so excited to see the quilt in it's next step that I just keep on going until I'm done with it! This one looks amazing by the way - can't wait to see the finished product.
It will be exiting to see the finished product. You have kept the finished top under wraps. I really like your quilting design, keep at it!
Well, at least for this quilt...
Cute, cute, cute!! Love the look of this quilt. I think I might spy a few scraps to treasure pieces in there! I like your new leaf, but whatever works is good to! You have so much talent, just whatever.. :-)
I love these fabrics...what an amazing quilt!
oh my -- that is a wonderful quilt. Are you using your walking foot and a programmed stitch to quilt it, so closely together? What size is the quilt? just lovely.
I have the same question as some have asked, are you using a programmed stitch or free hand? Either way it is lovely, but inquiring minds want to know.
well your quilt just inspired me to get my stuff together and just sew til I'm done!
thanks! I needed that!
How very boring and pedestrian to make a quilt from start to finish! ***tongue firmly in cheek as I try to remember the last time I managed that little trick***
what an idea!
It looks so good, I can't wait to see a picture of the whole thing. Or the *actual* whole thing. :0)
Oh please let it rub off on me Jacquie - my top flimsy is almost done and I now wish I had a design wall like yours so I could work out the placement for a banner strip across the back - then it would be all go - so please let it rub off on me.
Let me add my question to the dozen already unanswered - how are you doing this quilting?
Very impressive! I'm lovin' the feel of this one.
I am loving the fabric...and the colors...and the quilting. Can't wait to see it all together!
I love the quilting stitch you are using and your safety pen holder is too cute!
Wow - I bet it feels great to have something finished quickly, instead of lots of things started in a short period of time (my usual).
Also - I love that quilting. I tried it recently and it was kind of hard.
It IS a new year :D It's a fantastic quilt!!
Your choice of unusual colours along with the unusual quilting lines are making this an OUTSTANDING quilt!
Love it, totally.
crazier things have happened!! hey it means your inspired.. just go with it!
i love how this is coming along~
what foot do you use to get that tight wavy quilting?
Well done! I am loving the colours in this quilt, can't wait to see it finsihed!
so i'm looking at your pictures and realize A. i totally love this and B. i want to sneak into your house and raid your stash and C. oh my, that is some lovely quilting.
Great quilt! Sounds like your in the zone! Keep it up!
joan
i love it - is the wavy line you are quilting with a really long zig-zag stitch? i love it and was trying to find something similar on my machine?
Love it! I'll add my name to the list of those who want to know about your wavy line quilting. Please post how you do this. Thanks! I notice you are using a walking foot, too. I love my walking foot and will probably take it to the grave with me.
Gorgeous!
That is looking AMAZING! The quilting on it makes it pop all the more! I can't wait!
I LOVE this one!
Maybe......but it could just be time management! I'm sure there's more brewing, it just depends on how strong the brew is!
As always I LOVE your use of color!
Okay Jacquie... will you be my BFF??? Shhh... don't tell Kerri! LOL
LOVE it :)
XO, Heather
Impressive Jacquie and so wonderful, the colours and the quilting!
Soo cute! I LOVE it! Can't wait to see finished photos!
I love your squiggly quilting! So cute!
hahaha! My husband never understands why I don't finish what I start. I just like to have maybe 10 starts! They all get finished....eventually!! Love the waves!
beautiful so far!
I used to make quilts from beginning to end, then I stockpiled four tops. Now I'm fighting off the urge to start a new quilt before finishing up the three remaining tops I have
I love where this quilt is going! Awesome colors!
Love the quilting on your quilt. I might just have to "borrow" your idea.
Jeanine
