color...glorious color!

52 stacks of fabric.
52 4" strips cut selvage to selvage
156 wedges
one set laid out flowing from one color to the next (a little tweaking here and there)
sewn into sections

i'm adapting Jovelle Hoverson's pattern from Last Minute Patchwork and Quilted Gifts. Mine is going to be a BIG quilt...with multiple wheels of color.

color, glorious, color...

Very pretty. I love all that color too. Makes me happy. I am currently working on my Schnibbles quilt for the month and I am doing a quilt that the colors gradate across the quilt in the colors of the rainbow. I have been surprised at how much tweaking I needed to do to get the flow of the color without having one stick out to much. It was time consuming but so fun.

Oh my goodness - how wonderful. Will you be changing up the 'color flow' in the different circles that will make up the quilt or will they be identical to each other? Either way - I can't wait to see this one when it's finished:) AWESOME!
