Seattle Here I Come...Won't You Come Too?

I'm going to be on the road a bunch during the month of April...business and pleasure... so posts from here will be a little sparse for the next couple of weeks. During my travels I'm going to be in Seattle and I get to meet my friend Katie, of Sew Katie Did. Katie works at this amazing shop, Fabric Crush. Don't you LOVE that name!

Katie had a great idea that maybe I could stuff a few of my quilts into the extra space in my suitcase and do a mini trunk show at the shop. Who needs clothes when you can pack quilts? I thought it was a fine idea. So, if you're in the Seattle area, come to Fabric Crush on Tuesday, April 6th from 6:30 to 8:00. We'll talk quilts and do a little shopping together!
I have a few more binding stitches on a king sized quilt...I so want to show you...It's a LOT of stitching to get around that whole quilt. I'm so close, but I want to show it finished. Off to sew!

Love to meet you and see the cute shop. I don't live far away, in Spokane and most of my family is there. I am due for a trip over but I can't for at least another month. Sorry. Have fun, I know you will.

Awwwwww!! I'm going to be up there at the END of April. Crossing paths! What a shame but those are some lucky Seattle-ites who will get to meet you and see your quilts in person!

Oh Jacquie I am a Seattle-ite and I will definitely try to pop by and say hi! I would love to see your beautiful quilts in person. I just made it into the new Fabric Crush location and it's beautiful. They've done a great job with the space and I look forward to shopping there a lot in the future. Plus, it's next door to the world's best cupcakes, Trophy (they even did my wedding cupcakes!). Fabric and cake in one place? I really couldn't ask for much more:)

Oh, I wish I was going to be there. I am heading there today. My daughter has a new job and apartment there. So I am delivering furniture dishes and a kitty... Have a great visit. I think Seattle is an incredible City. I will have to find Fabric Crush while I am there.

ENJOY and safe travels.

I'm hoping to be there! I just have to find a babysitter for my 3 boys...taking them with me is NOT an option! :) It'll be my first chance to see the new store, too.

Wish I could stop by - have a wonderful time - you should go to Orangette's restaurant while you are in Seattle - it sounds so yummy!! I need to start quilting a queen/king size quilt - I can't even imagine how long it takes to bind one too!

I'm hoping to make it in to say Hi. I agree with Amber, go eat at Delancy in Ballard. It's the best delish pizza ever! But go early before they actually open. People stand in line to get in. Or call and make reservations. You won't regret it.
