Fussy and Loopy!

I've been a little fussy (cutting that is)...
I've been a little loopy...
...and I've been sewing with my KCMQG peeps.
What have you been up to?

Sometimes you have to be fussy and loopy. It is definitely part of the creative process, right?

Pretty pretty loopy quilting!

Me, I've been working and finished up 1.5 quilt tops this weekend. Quilting one of them today! Whee!

What fun! I've been cleaning my garage, but I figure that justifies some serious sewing time later!

Aren't loops just so much fun to quilt?

How funny, I've been ordering a bunch of Heather Ross precisely for some fussy cutting recently! Can't wait to see how your turns out.

Your loops are so pretty! (and the blocks look like they'll be really cute)

You look just busy enough!

Demands are relaxing a little and with Quilt Canada over I plan to spend some serious time with my machine. On deck: quilting my Dad's quilt.

I'm stalled on two of my challenge projects....I needed a couple supplies.

But the worst thing is that I'm still trying to get myself to at least set a date for that icky mending project I have in the challenge. *yuck*

SO.....I've started a new project. *S*....That's how it all begins, isn't it?

What have I been doing? Working on my spring to finish Millennium quilt, moving my stone wall, and exercising like mad (I need to lose a gazillion pounds by early July - hey, I down 5 pound this weekend with all that yard work!) Love the fussy fabrics! Very cut motifs!

What have I been up to? I'm working like a donkey on my Spring to Finish projects. Now that I shot off my mouth about what I'd get done, I have no choice but to work work work on them! I'm terrified that May 10 is fast approaching!

Love your fussy projects!
What have I been doing? Trying to (still) work for the Spring to Finish project. Not sure yet if I could show something this May 10 ...

I spent the entire weekend sewing. Only sewing! I finished two quilt tops, both crib quilts. I work full time and often have dreamed of having two solid days for sewing and quilting only. When the opportunity presented itself, I made the most of it. So glad I did! Love the loops. How do you keep those even across the quilt without slanting in one direction?

Those fussy cuts are wonderful. Great fabrics.

Love the loops! Working on my goals for the spring challenge. Have one goal checked off the list. Yippie!

Your fussy cuts look so fun! I have been trying to get some finished done, and accidentally started a new quilt. Oops!

I have been stitching like mad - mostly small projects, but finishing alot I had started. Had never really done straight-stiching machine quilting so am enjoying doing that!

I'm jealous....and I'm not saying what I've been doing....IT'S A SECRET!!
but I had to click over earlier today to find out how much longer I have on the challenge....my motivation is fading....eeegads! not enough days! better get quilting!

I've been finishing some things too - but not just with the sewing machine. I finished a knit dress for my daughter, a pair of socks for my husband, a commission quilt, and I
m ALMOST done with another quilt. It does feel good to get things finished. A great way to feel good about starting something new!
