Selvages in the House

It's finally done and hanging in the studio.

It's so inspiring to have it right in front of me when I'm at my desk. This is where I sit and sketch.

I'm working hard to get things done. I thought I had a free week, but now the calendar is packed again. How does that happen?

yep..it's decided. This is definitely a quilt design I will be "stealing" to make with my own selvages. I haven't know why I was saving them, but this is PERFECT. Love it!

Love where it hangs! Much better than a calendar anyway!

What a beautiful quilt (just a little partial to selvages I am...) and what a great creative desk space!

I've always loved this quilt of yours.
I don't know how free weeks fill up but know they always do.

This is very cool, I like the "simple" quilting on it.
Can you give some tutorial on hanging your quilt. Yours lies so neat, no bump where the rod is. And what method do you use for fixing your rod to the wall?

You have block out time in your planner to do the things you really want to do. We all need free time in our lives, it's our therapy. Be strong enough to say "no . . . I'm already scheduled for that time". You don't have to tell them that it's your quilting time :)
