It pays to get up early on Thanksgiving morning in Chicago. We crammed onto a jam packed train full of other parade goers, staked out a good viewing spot and enjoyed the bands, the horses, the dancers, the floats and best of all...the giant balloons.
Oh, and I saw the Clydesdales too. Two things to check off my bucket list today.
X Clydesdales and Spot the dog
X Giant parade balloons

Happy Thanksgiving!
How fun!!! Oh and not just any parade balloons but rocky and bullwinkle!
Must be really fun, wish I could join it my own!
And my hero, Yogi Bear, too!
Welcome to Chicago!! I was very excited to hear you picked us to be your new "home". I hope we don't disappoint.
We were there last weekend for the Magnificent Mile parade on Michigan Avenue. It was great fun as well. Wishing you many more memory building experiences.
PS. I stood in front of the storefront with all of the sewing machines on display. I couldn't have been more at home.
