Procrastination

Since I was in LA for the March meeting, I didn't push to finish my Kaufman solids challenge quilt. Thursday is the April meeting of the KC MQG and now I have 48 hours and counting to get this done.
Of course some of the quilting was in the wrong position when I looked at it again. I wanted it changed just a bit, so out came the seam ripper. I know, 48 hours and counting. Anyone up for some late night quilting?

  3. Nothing focuses the mind like a short deadline! Not my favorite way to work, though. Good luck - it looks amazing so far.

  4. Does it feel like someone's been looking over your shoulder... watching and waiting for you to finish this quilt? Okay, okay... it's me!

I soooo can't wait to see this quilt and have fallen in love even from the little peeks you've given!

  5. This looking great. Our local modern quilt guild up here in the bay area has a similar challenge too. I've just got started on mine - finally came up with a plan.

Good luck with all that quilting!

  7. Been there, done that! Seriously...back when I first started quilting (by hand...in 8th grade...) I did an all night quilting session one time...the quilt was due the next day! I was binding it on the way to judging...

  9. I like early morning quilting better but the result is the same. Some peace and quiet while the quilt fairy works. Good luck!

  13. You and me, we are in the same boat right now. Except, you are maybe a million miles ahead of me, and I have no excuse. Sighsies.

  14. sorry but I gave up procrastination for Lent...along with sweets....but I don't want to procrastinate eating sweets so I might have to go ahead and get a jump on eating them....to prevent procrastinating eating them you know.
