I'm on a roll...or maybe it's more like a mission. The 'Snippets' quilt is finished.
I think I'm pleased though I would do some things differently next time. Like different quilting. I'm definitely making this in a larger version. The next one will be better.
I do love the binding...a perfect complement to the snippets.
The back is sort of fun.
After trimming all that bias joined binding I had all of these scrap triangles...I was about to toss them into the scrap bucket and then I remembered Amanda Jean's ticker tape doll quilt. I used her method and made my own version with triangles.
I left some blank space simply because I liked the look and how it added a little movement to the piece. Thanks AJ...great technique!!
Off to pull the next UFO from the closet!!

It looks great! Love the binding. And the little snippet triangle quilt is darling!
ohhh that is a very beautiful quilt!!!! and the mini quilt with your tiny triangles is just lovely! i love them!!
What a great quilt......the binding is fabulous, I love scrappy bindings and this compliments the quilt so well.
Funny you should mention you would change the quilting on future quilts. I admire your quilting - it's always fresh - not the same old stippling pattern.
Your work is beautiful.
How cute are both these quilts!! Isn't it fun to make a quilt out of scraps!! LOve it!

What don't you like about the quilting? I like the double cross hatch.
I love the quilting! And I especially love the triangles-cute and thrifty!
3 down!! keep going!
we should do a UFO finish fall like you did a Spring to Finish!!
get em all done by New Years!
It may feel like it's biting the dust, but to me it looks like it's getting its wings! Lovely!
Beautiful, wonderful quilts. Love the Snippets....everything about it...but especially the binding. Really like how you did the doll quilt with the triangle scraps.
Those are both some of the most wonderful things I've seen! No, really, they are. They have a super happy vibe. I'm down to my last of 10 minis and would love to use your large quilt as inspiration! Thanks so much for sharing.
i LOVE your snippets quilt. a great way to use little bits up. and the triangles are adorable, too. :)
different quilting!? I love that quilting!!! Yes, the back is "sorta" fun! Tell me~do you cut your binding 2.5 wide?
That quilt is amazing - I love everything about it!!! the little doll quilt is quite precious too.
How gorgeous! The Snippets quilt is beautiful... and I love the pieced binding. The doll quilt is cute.. nice spin on Amanda Jean's idea :)
I love it, all of it. This is definitely my favorite quilt in recent memory. I actually love the quilting, and the little bits are just perfect. And a coordinating doll quilt to boot!
wow, great colors and I love the quilting. I always visit your blog or flickr page when I need quilting ideas :)
Great minds think alike - only you are faster! ;) Yesterday I sat in a hospital room for about 6 hours while my daughter had surgery on her ear and there was a painted on boarder of triangles all along the top of her room - with little white spaces between them and I thought of the ticker tape quilt idea... and how cool it would look using triangles!!! and I was right - your quilt is looking so COOL! ;)
Love from Texas! ~bonnie
Great quilt! I love the back with all that red. Your AmandaJean inspired quilt is cute, love that you took the idea and tweaked it with triangles.
The quilting is such a contrast in style to the top design. But both look good!
And love the ticker tape with triangles. I had the same idea when sorting scraps.
They both look beautiful! I love it when you can get another great project done with the scraps!
I love the polka dots and the color combo. The mini quilt is clever. I have a feeling there are a bunch of variations on Amanda Jean's quilt germinating in minds around the globe.
Your drive for completed projects is inspiring. I hope I can jump on that proverbial bandwagon.
I have always love pieced bindings. This one is fabulous. Love what you did with the scraps!
You go girl! I really love this quilting pattern and the photo of the full front shows it off beautifully. The triangle scrap ticker tape is fab. I always chuck those pesky triangles, but no more!
The snippets quilt turned out gorgeous!!! I had been waiting to see how it turned out and am inspired. Love the triangles, too... That AJ is pretty awesome at getting ideas into people's heads.
It turned out beautifully! The back is as wonderful as the front. I love your version of the ticker tape quilt. The triangles are fantastic!
oooo and aaahhh!
The quilts turned out just beautifully, both front and back of the large one and the little bonus binding-scraps-doll-quilt!
Always such pretty quilts! Funny that you created a triangle *ticker tape* quilt. When I couldn't sleep last night, I thought I might try a triangle ticker tape quilt. You beat me to it and it looks fantastic!
Love them both! Triangles are fun like that :)
Very cool, Jacquie! I really like this quilt, and great use for the triangles. I have a hard time even throwing out the smallest scrap anymore, and wish I had some of my great scraps back that I tossed several years ago thinking they were "useless"!
Another wonderful Jacquie quilt! Love the back! And your little triangles, too!
What a beautiful quilt! The colors are wonderful and the quilting is just perfect. :)
Everything you do is to die for. Great idea using the triangles! Love your work!
I was afraid "another one bites the dust" was referring to another quilt in the wash accident! Glad that it isn't. Love the little triangle quilt.
Another great quilt!! I LOVE the way you quilted it too!
Fabulous work Jacquie, as always. Well done!
So so great! Can't wait to see the big one too!
Just beautiful!! and I like your plan one UFO and one new!!
OMG, I love the snippets!

A great colour combination and all those straight lines - exhausting work!
beautiful! I love the double cross hatch quilting
I LOVE RED AND TURQUOISE! I LOVE THE QUILT! I LOVE USING ALL CAPS AND EXCLAMATION POINTS TO EXPRESS MY LEVEL OF EXCITEMENT!
I love the quilt and I L.O.V.E the diagonal quilting. I have noticed that you do beautiful quilting and I think that would make a great tutorial (hint, hint)!! I can never figure out how to get my diagonal lines spread out evenly.
Refreshing work. The style, the colours and the quilting all work well together. Very inspiring! ellendacoop
I love both of the quilts. This aqua blue and red looks really nice together. Also the doll quilt is really qute, and such a great design.

Both the mama and the baby quilts are awesome. I want to make them both!
