The Future of 'Pink/Orange'

'Project Improv' is well on its way. Anina had a little bit of time and put some of the blocks that have been posted in the flickr group into a little "potential quilt" mosaic. It's like seeing into the future. This, is a work of art!

Check out the flickr group to see the folks who made these great blocks and check out all the rest. Isn't it GREAT what we can do together. The quilts we make to donate are going to be spectacular. There are more wonderful blocks to see and some folks have even started their improvisational projects.
Don't forget to check out the discussion section of the group. It's a great place to get questions answered or share information.

You guys are awesome!

I'm "practicing" before I do my blocks. This is so hard for me, but it is really a lot of fun too. These look so good together!

I'm going to try to work on mine this weekend. I can't wait to see mine with everyone else's. As far as my Project Improv, I have my fabric but I haven't decided on the actual project. Thanks again Jacquie!

wow that is one crazy quilt! I might have to try doing a wonky one myself, usually everything has to be measured exact and according to pattern, I'll have to step out of my box a little!

Love that "virtual quilt"! What a great idea, to put all the blocks together photographically. What fun!

Sorry I won't be joining you in Project Improv (too many other commitments), but I am watching with relish AND absorbing. It looks like such fun!

And thanks for the link to the Flicker group. I can't wait to go see what everyone is up to.

those blocks look so cute together. It's amazing how you can pull 12 blocks together simply with unifying colors!

I love that you are giving these quilts to charity once complete. Another idea would be to auction them off and then give the money to charity. After seeing these lovely pink and orange blocks I might pay big bucks for a chance to own one.

Especially people who don't quilt but follow your blog!

Just an idea!

oh..so beautiful! It's a great idea to put them all together. Btw, i still can't join flickr, they said I might write a permission letter for the administrator (I did it) and now just wait. i'm still working on my B&W project and planning to start sewing my curvy block this Saturday. Wish me luck :)

Jacquie, these are just so brilliantly beautiful. What a wonder all of you are creating.
The creativity "out there" is astounding to me.
Do you quilt in your dreams, or is sleep so elusive as you lie there joyously with colors and patterns swirling around in your head?

Saw this on Flickr. Brilliant idea!
