QuiltCon Announcement

It's official, QuiltCon 2015, the convention and quilt show of the Modern Quilt Guild, is one year away.  Mark your calendars and get ready.  I'm so excited I can barely speak.  QuiltCon 2013 was great and we learned so much from planning and executing that event.  QuiltCon 2015 is going to be bigger and better.  Tacos for every meal, fabulous quilts, modern quilters from around the world, opportunities to learn and grow.  It doesn't get any better.  Find out more on the MQG blog.

I sure hope to see you there!  Austin here I come!

Oh my god oh my god.... I have a week off from work exactly that time in 2015! I have already checked what airline tickets would cost to come over from Europe......
Oh gosh oh gosh. It is possible that I am going to be there!

So excited! As a member of the Lake Superior MQG, I'm a MQG member and am hoping to volunteer- do you need volunteers for your classes?? (I hope, I hope!)

Hotel room booked...as soon as flights open up for booking the credit card comes out! Quiltcon 2015 is my early 60th birthday present to myself. My husband went to Everest for his celebration of a new decade....I'm going to Quiltcon!! Same thing right? :-) Like Sue asked, need volunteers?!?

I want to come this year! Any suggestions for a hotel? I have lots of vacation so I may fly down a few days earlier and stay a few day later just to explore.

I'll be there, one way or another! Happily, our son and his family moved to Austin last fall, so I even have a place to stay! I can't wait!
